“Jaden Ivey is everything (Memphis Grizzles guard) And Morant is and was the same age, except he’s bigger, taller and he can be even sportier and And Morant is weird. I’m telling you, Jaden Ivey … and he shot it much better this year, he dramatically improved every aspect of the game, he’s the closest thing I’ve ever seen to Russell Westbrook or Ja Morant, I love him to the fullest.

“I would consider him the top five and I’d be happy to take him, obviously to the top five, but if I look at the top five, I’d count him 100%. And if I had to vote today, I’d say Jaden Ivey. If I look at (No.) 2 or 3, he It wouldn’t shock me if (Oklahoma City Thunder) took him in. I just think that no matter where you get it, you get the chance to be the absolute best player at either end of the floor and he’s the most at that draft bar. a more dynamic athlete.

Vandegarde added that he thinks Shaedon Sharpe could develop into a great NBA player. When he left school early to play for Kentucky, he was a five-star shooting guard. But he didn’t play for Wildcats and decided to become a pro.

“There are some really high-level guys out there,” he told Fox News Digital. “I’d even go to Shaedon Sharpe. I’ve seen him for the last three years. He’s a little wild. But I’ll tell you what when I saw him two years ago and examined him. He was the closet I saw for Kobe Bryant. and what I saw when I was in high school. I love him to the fullest. (But) there are some big question marks. We haven’t seen him play at the highest level, but I love the boy to the fullest. “

As a choice for a possible underdog, Vandegarde mentioned Caleb Houstan as a potential safe choice later in the first round. He played as a freshman in Michigan in 34 games, averaging 10.1 points and 4 rebounds per game.
