We’re in the third wave of the NFL free agency deep after a quick start with players all over the league, but there are still a lot of quality players available, including Duane Brown – No. 1 among our top players.
When teams start putting these free agent contracts on paper, there are still a lot of talented players competing for teams to catch. Unfortunately, there is no quarterback for teams that need a quarterback.

Left-wing repellents are hard to find in this league, and Brown is 36 years old. The eight bags allowed to Brown are the same as his last four years combined, and his five sentences were the highest he had served in four years.
Brown should have a strong market based on the value of offensive repellents. He has a few more good years left in football.
He finally saw his pre-injury nature back last year, but then suffered another serious knee injury in the Super Bowl. That’s why he’s so low.
Beckham revolutionized his 2021 season after signing a contract with Rams after a ugly break from the Browns, recording 27 hits in 30 games for 305 yards and five touchdowns. He collected 21 hits in 288 yards in four post-season games and made two touchdowns, earning two hits and a touchdown in the Super Bowl LVI before getting a knee injury.
After the Achilles tendon ruptured with the Chiefs in late 2020, he moved in and did a nice job for Colt last season. Fisher promised nine bags and 40 pressures last year by blocking 457 accesses. He’s not a man to be an All-Pro, but he’s a good beginner.
Hightower returned to Patriots’ defense last season after giving up the 2020 campaign. During that time, he didn’t look like the same player who helped New England to several Super Bowls. Instead, Hightower was significantly slower than before. He finished the season with 64 hits and 1.5 bags. It is alleged that the 32-year-old is still considering the next steps in his career, suggesting that retirement could be on the table if the right situation does not come.
Anyone looking for a capable starting player who has also seen their fair share of NFL representatives should be involved with Johnson. Johnson, who spent the last four seasons in the Denver Broncos in 2021, broke a chest rupture, but was at the pace for the best campaign of his career before the injured reserve robbed him of his chance to complete the mission. In 2020, he made a career-leading 124 combined tackles and two forced hits, increasing his bag count to about a third of starts in 2021 (a year earlier, he started with 16 games); and when OTAs begin, teams in need of an LB should peek at what it has to offer.
6. Riley Reiff
After spending four seasons in the Minnesota Vikings, Reiff signed an annual contract to join Bengals last season. He started all 12 games for Cincinnati with the right shot last season before being taken to the injured reserve in mid-December, and left the club in the Super Bowl LVI. According to Pro Football Focus, Reiff’s pass-blocking efficiency rating was 96.8, allowing a total of 21 pressures and four bags.
7. Anthony Barr
The former four-time Pro Bowl selection has just turned 30 and has a 2021 season. Barr received 72 rebounds, 2.5 tabs, three interceptions, five assists and six assists. Barri had just 13 pressures and seven rushes last season because he’s best suited for a defensive role similar to former Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer in Minnesota.
8. Joe Haden
Injuries limited him to 11 games last season and he’s been rising for years. So these are both concerns. But on the field, he is still more than capable of being an average corner man.
9. Chris Harris
He was once one of the best corner players in the league, especially in the slot machine. He is no longer that, but he can still help the young secondary.
